No New Posts Glacialis Desert - 1 Viewing

Glacialis Desert is the coldest place in Aetus, it is literally a desert of ice. Losing an appendage to the cold is the least of your worries; sharp winds are strong enough to rip the very appendages off. nevermind freeze them. There are a few species of wolf that call this place home and they are well suited to live here, though even they have problems adapting to the cold.

No New Posts Frozen Shores - 1 Viewing

In summer these shores are no good for swimming because of the freezing water, but decent enough from a walk along the beach. They are covered with hundreds of small brown-black pebbles. Many of these pebbles hold secrets, but only if one searches long enough will they find the magical rocks. In winter the pebbles become covered with a layer of ice, making the glare just unbearable as the one in Glacialis Desert. All throughout the year a gentle breeze blows from the south making this one of the warmer parts of the north.

No New Posts Druid Mountains

Claimed by Pluit
The Druid Mountains stretch across the full length of Aetus, their beauty is well known among the Aetuins. With various shades of sharp purple rock building cliff faces and green vegetation clinging to wherever possible, it's no wonder that the beauty is so well known. There are many hidden secrets about these mountains. Check them often because you never know what you may find.
The tip of the mountain range ends here at one of the coldest parts of Aetus. Many times you will find the mountains bare, donning only white snow caps, with places where the rock is black and harsh while in others it has turned white. No matter what, the purple always finds a way to glint through.

No New Posts Medius Fons

A rather large lake that drains into an underground river, this is where the Gelu and Tipidus rivers meet. Steam hangs constantly in the air and the waters themselves are heavenly for a long soak. Just do not go to deep or you will be sucked underneath.

The rushing torrent of the Gelu River comes from the north and its deep blue color speaks for itself. Beneath the surface rocks lay claim as well as many other dangerous items. Not even fish call this river home. Many times one can find Ice on the river banks and whole glaciers moving through the ocean-like river.

The Tepidus river comes from the south and the water is just as extreme as that of the Gelu River. The water is boiling hot and even though it runs smoothly with no hidden traps such as rocks beneath the water it can kill anything that dares enter it in an instant. It is clear as glass and the sand on the bottom is a bright yellow.

No New Posts The Jungle

The jungle is filled with life as well as a variety of creatures. It is easy to get lost in the place infected with greenery and noise, but once you have learned how to live in the jungle it its hard to forget. There is a major river winding through the jungle which is good for many things such as fishing, swimming and bathing. But beware as the river is not very predictable and can be fast in one area and slow in another.

No New Posts Vitalis Meadow

This Meadow of life lives up to its name, many animals call this place home, both herbivores and predators. Herbs grow aplenty here along with everything else. This Meadow takes up most of the East and in many places the grass and other plants differ in length type and color.

No New Posts Mount Ornus

This large black mountain constantly releases puffs of deadly smoke into the air high above it, leaving white specks of ash to float down gently as if it were snowing. The mountain looks like it has had its top cut off to reveal its hollow insides. If one were to look down into the mountain they would see nothing but climbing down the various ledges you would come to stand on flat earth surrounding a lake of lava.

No New Posts Flamma Flumen

A fiery red river of molten rock deriving from Molten Ornus, It ends at the Tepidus River with a lot of steam and a strong sulphuric stench. The glow from the Flamma Flumen can be seen for miles all around at night and it acts as a sort of compass for the residents of the Southern lands.

No New Posts Dead Forest

The dry forest is just like any other forest, but the trees here are thin-branched and spaced far from each other. This is a land influenced by the heat of the desert as water, even though it is present, is hard to find. There are many fallen trees and even a few hollow trees that ranging size.

No New Posts Savannah

The Savannah surrounds the Deep desert and warns those that they are entering a land where wolves rarely return alive from. The grass here is hard and yellow, the days are often cloudless and blistering. There are not many trees in this area but there are small bushes and shrubs and a variety of life. The most dangerous thing in the Savannah are the lions as many of their prides claim land all over the Savannah just as the packs do.

No New Posts Deep desert

Surrounded by Savannah on either side the deep desert is filled with intense heat. No water can be found for miles at a time and even the air itself is dry. No wolf, even those of Aduro, can survive here long. The devastating heat takes water out of a wolf's very breath, this place is truly a death trap. It is often used when exiling wolves from the packs neighboring the desert as the packs can be sure the exiled wolves will die soon.

No New Posts Nordon Valley - 1 Viewing

A valley filled with life and magic, there is one entrance and exit unless you have wings and this is through a small path in the mountains. It is one of the largest territories as it has its own hunting grounds, its own small forest and even a lake in the middle.

No New Posts Os Shores

Grey sand fills these shores and as with most of the land of the west grey clouds filled with rain fill the skies. The stark white bones of the dead stand out from the grey sand. The rain and the soft lap of the water on the shore offer a peaceful funeral lamentation, one that lulls the dying into the sleep of death. This is where wolves come to die when they feel it is their time, sometimes even other creatures can come here. That is the source of any foreign bones.
