Appearance: Akan is a tall but lean, handsome wolf. Dark and Medium tones of blue make up the majority of his coat but it becomes lighter along his back. Along the back of his neck and top of his head is yellow with the tip of his tail that looks very similar to the color of the sun when it rises.The thing that is cool about him is his silvery-blue eyes, but they are normal for a Ventus Elemental. The flesh of his nose and paw pads are both dark grays while his claws are light graying yellow.
Personality:
The truth few see is that Akan has a very thin coating of what one would consider self confidence. The happiness and boastful nature hide a deeper more frightened finish that covets loose friendships and open ended affairs.
Love and long term relationships do not sit well with him and though he yearns for a family, in any use of the definition, but he does not know where to begin. Growing up in a large setting he thrives on companionship, without it he wilts. Whether its because there is no one there to boost his ego or just genuine loneliness depends on his current mood.
Yet to those whom know the deepest depths know of someone passionate and courageous and can see past the arrogance to an emotional klutz no better then a pup. All he wants to do is please.
History:
Akan was raised in a large pack of four families. All healthy and striving and lead by his father's friend Arwan. Growing up with more then just his siblings at his side he became fond of the Alphamale's eldest son Owain who was a few months older and quite a bit bigger then he was.
Months of play saw a bond grow but as they grew Akan found his attraction to other wolves to grow as well. Spinning tales of amazing adventures while he and Owain were out hunting. Many were more embellishments then fact but the web of carefully chosen words had their effect.
As the Three Fathers, the Betas and advisers to Arawn, his father, Dodge, and Crimson were all allowed given permission to seek mates and offspring. While it was not Akan's intentions to seek offspring, mates he did find. With the mating and conception of litters of not just one of the Three Fathers daughters but Arwan's as well, Akan was chased from the pack. His demand for companionship was punished by solitude and the pups would be punished by growing up without their father.
Akan hung around for many nights. Owain would creep to him then bringing news. While he shared a magical night, or two, with those he had sought after, Owain was the one to know him closer then anyone else. Yet Owain's loyalties were with his family and Akan understood. As Summer's Ridge moved on, Akan was forced to say his goodbyes and start on his own.
