Kent snorted and then struggled his way out of the water. It took some time before he fully got out, his coat soaking wet and the emeralds on his tail seemed more clear than ever. Almost as if they were glowing. Of course all kinds of dirt had been on it before so it was only natural it looked rather dull before, but now it looked like a shining gem, as blazing as his own spirit was.
He ran after her, although she was out of sight. Flying would be no use with wet wings so he had to keep traveling on his paws and hoping he'd soon catch up with her. Once she came into his view he grinned. Pushing his hind legs from the ground once he were close enough he tried to pounce onto her, pushing her down with his claws if all went according plan.

She was about to bolt when he landed on her, pushing her to the ground with a grunt. She giggled and squirmed around until she was on her back with him looking down at her. Her multi-coloured eyes glinted in the dappled light pouring down from the trees above and her tongue hung out of her mouth ever-so-slightly. In a way that was playful yet cute and pup-like. She wagged her tail as she looked up into his eyes.
”You know it’s said the soul can be seen through the eyes” she said softly, a small grin covering her maw and reaching into her eyes.

The male grinned as he struck her down. He tugged lightly in a playful way at her ear and as the she-wolf had lain on her back, Kent placed his paws back next to her.
''I know,'' he responded at her statement. He felt his heart thundering in his chest from all the adrenaline rushing through his veins.
''You have the most extraordinary eyes I've ever seen...'' he muttered, ''does that mean your soul is different than that of the usual wolf as well?'' Kent wondered out aloud. ''I think so yes. After all you're the first who truly accepts me are you not?''
Yes, she truly was special to him. And those scenes he had in mind at times. Could that be a different Teara than he faced now? Did she had two sides, two personalities? But then he snapped out of it, for he didn't want to wonder about it and only care about the Teara he met now. And as he looked at her so deeply in her eyes, he was starting to develop a liking for her. But he didn't had the guts to admit that so openly.
