She grinned at him and laughed, he had obviously not gotten the joke in the question but she didnt mind. With a last chuckle she grinned at him and then spoke. “Well I am a witch... or a healer. Whichever you prefer to call it. I have learned a bit or Terrunus’s magic as well as how to work with multiple herbs and such. I travel from place to place learning things from healers and other witches. It’s an exciting life.” She stood up and beckoned for him to follow, she was tired of sitting. She wanted to walk a little bit.
”And you, what can you tell me?”

Kent listened with perked ears, positioned forwards. Somehow it all seemed so familiar to him. A witch. Teara. Why couldn't he remember? It was frustrating him a lot.
''Well, that's quite an interesting life there you got. I like to travel a lot too, yet I also would like to have a permanent home. So you can heal wounds, huh? That's quite handy, I've met someone who-'' but he then cut off his words. What in the world was he saying? He hadn't met anyone who could heal others too, in fact he had talked in his life with almost no one. ''Sorry, I meant to say I hadn't met anyone else who can do that,'' he added to it sheepishly, but he was sure it sounded extremely stupid, but he did not knew any other way to correct himself.
He stood up and walked up to the female. Kent stood a bit nervously behind as he eyed the distance, unsure where she wanted to go to.
''What I can tell?'' he said as he tilted his head. What was there to tell, actually? ''I haven't had an interesting life so far, at least not as interesting as yours. I've been bullied and neglected by others ever since I got dragon parts from Vita. But...'' he waited a bit before continuing, his eyes gazing at the ground below, ''you see, Teara, lately I see unknown faces in my dreams or the mind's eye. Unknown yet familiar. Some of them look a bit like me in their build, with reddish coats. But you... you were part of one of those faces too, and now that I've met you it's strange. It's like I have known you all along yet I don't seem to know you that well either. And I'm pretty sure it's not only because of the side ability of our species to know who their mate is. After all, I still wonder who the other ones in my mind are.''
He sighed and wondered if it was a good idea to tell her all of it yet, but he couldn't help it.

”Kent that is a Pine thing, we are able to know our Mates from birth. We know what they look like and sometimes maybe even have an inkling of who they are. Perhaps your gifts from Vita made it more pronounced. I knew you too, but I only knew what you looked like and even then it was vague. It only clicked when I saw you. Come lets walk a bit” She said in reply, a gentle smile covering her maw. She nuzzled him slightly to get him to come and then she continued, ”Maybe the others are there for a reason too? Maybe she wants you to know something?”
”Why don’t we start a pack? Then no one can bully or hurt you without your leave... which you would be silly to give” She added the last part jokingingly. ”It would be a pack for all those dedicated to Terrunus, we could call it Terrunus?”

''Well, I'm pretty sure there is more behind it,'' he muttered, although more to himself. He awoke from his thoughts as she nuzzled him in a manner to follow her and he quickly trotted up to her.
''I hope I can find out what is is one day,'' he continued, ''it's been bugging my mind a lot but now that I found you... perhaps I should try to let it loose a bit, huh. It'll come eventually, as time passes by.''
He was surprised at her offer of making a pack. Kent thought for a while and then nodded.
''I've always wanted to have a pack of my own, since I never could join any other and I want a different pack. A pack that sees everyone as equal beings and judges no one by the outer side,'' he said, smiling softly at the thought, ''and when would you like to make it, Teara? I mean, we should become officially mates first, no? Or do you have a different plan?'' he asked.

She grinned at him, for a moment she didn’t know what she wanted. She simply knew she wanted a place for him not to feel hurt, a place where he would be harmed. A place where he would be respected for what he was. It was an outrage that he had been teased for having such a blessing. She would never have let that happen had she been his mother. She couldn’t say anything about that though; it would be offensive and rude. Rather she would just be a better mother to their young if they ever had.
”I don’t know, what do you think would be best? If we begin recruiting now we will have members by the time we are mated, other way round there will be no one to protect our territory” She stopped and turned to look him in the eyes, ”What do you want to do?”

''I think...,'' he said, ''I'd rather spend some time with you first. Let us travel a bit to find a fitting teritory, and this way we wouldn't rush our relationship too much I think,'' he felt slightly uneasy as he spoke of that, it still felt so unknown to him. ''And when we both think it is time we shall make our pack and howl for newcomers to join.''
He smiled satisfied as he finished, and then looked at her with his bright, green eyes. ''So what do you think?''

She nodded in agreement, either way she was happy. It was of course one of her dreams to head a pack one day and it seemed to be a dream that was coming closer and closer. Along with the dream of a mate and pups. She nipped at his ear playfully, ”Tag! You’re it!” She said and dashed off into the forest so that he could chase her.
