As the moon came over the mountains, with the fearsome darkness, i was busy devouring me prey, witch i caught at dusk earlier was almost finished. I began to hear a howl from me left as i turned i spotted a fire elimentor witch i thought was strange as the part of the mountains were i was i n had not seen a fire elemeto or any thing but the odd deer or rabbit, as the slopes of the mountain were close to being cliffs but with the experience i had this was no problem for me.

It was close to freezing despite it been summer yet Leandra was quite happy in the cold, she had a thick fur coat and she had her inner warmth that came from her element. She praised her stars for been a fire elemental as she melted a mound of snow and lapped up the water it left behind for her. The howl of another Fire elemental caught her off guard and her head shot up but the wolf was too far to do her any harm. Out of the corner of her eye she saw another danger though, a Ventus mist. She was shocked at seeing the creature as they were rare and she bowed very slightly before him.
”Good evening good fellow, I cannot believe my eyes. Surely you must be a hallucination of the cold” She said jokingly. She knew that the mists were not friendly towards other species but perhaps this one would be nice to her.

After i had looked at the direction of the howl i noticed another fire eliminator which seemed to be coming closer. As i began to prepare for a battle to the death it greeted in what it would have thought of as a joke witch i was caught off guard by so i replied with the first words that came tumbling out ov my mouth What do you mean, cold? as i said in a non interested tone of voice. It may have been cold but i didn’t notice it at the time.

She cocked her head to the side, curious. The mist didn’t seem to be overly interested in her which was strange. She wasn’t the best looking wolf but that didn’t mean he had to show no interest at all! She sighed and sat down noisily. Her rump making contact with the snow with a crunch. ”Well we are high up on the druid mountains, its freezing.” She said, her hurt at his off-handedness coming through.

With my mist darkening it colour ,it may be freezing for you but, i don’t really feel the cold and when i do i just ignore it. as i said the ability to feel the cold is useless to me as im always here and never any were warmer. The true matter was that i hated been around elemental wolves, as they just don’t understand why im the way i am. As i looked over her shoulder i saw the same fire elemental that must have howled earlier it seemed lost yet perfectly aware that it was in the mountains

She frowned at him ”I was just trying to be friendly, why don’t you ever leave the mountains Mist?” She said addressing him by his species because she did not know his name. The mist that was darkening was starting to scare her somewhat, in the darkness of the night it was only barely visible itself. She took a step back from him uncertainly, scared at the tone of his voice.

As my mist lightened in colour and thickened it seemed to be similar to a blanket. the reason that i don’t leave the safty of the mountain is that i don’t find it comfortable enough to leave as i said in a calmer voice. When i looked back to see whether the other fire elemental i noticed that it had run away or just wondered off somewhere else . i also noticed the tracks that it had left behind were still pools of water witched meant, in this temperature, that it had just ran off. As i turned my gaze back at the fire elemental i asked if u hate the cold so much why did you come here in the first place

”I never said I hated the cold, it simply has a bite ya know. Its nice because I have a thick coat and I am warm the WHOLE time but its got that bite, that wintery feel. Its something thats against who I am. Similarly to you not leaving the cold” She said with a grin. She was drawing patterns in the snow with her paw. She wondered how deep one would have to dig to reach the soil.

’’so what your telling me is that u hate the bite of the cold, but u enjoy it’’as I said in a confused tone of voice. As I started to wonder off from where I was speaking to the fire elemental I noticed some movement in the distance, so natruly I went sprinting after it with my mist dissipating while it attempted to follow. When I finally found the spot where the commotion came from I noticed that the ground had been churned up as if someone or something had been having a battle or messing around in or just digging up the snow. The area that surrounded was quite tranquil yet disturbing as the cliffs had been overrun with plants and trees and flowers and other planty stuff. As I thought to my self’’have I reached the edge ot the mountains or am I just been tricked in some way or another’’

She frowned, shaking her head as the wolf ran off. Not knowing what his intention was. He truly didn’t seem to understand what she was saying, because it wasn’t that she liked nor disliked the cold. Rather it was that it was different. Similarly to swimming, with a yawn she turned to leave. Glad to be free of the confusing creature.
